Cute Girls Hairstyles Review

One of my absolute favorite hairstyles to do is the frenchbraid headband. My daughter cannot stand wearing headbands so this style is a great alternative. I also like it becaus it keeps the hair out of the face but you still have a significant amount of it down. You can do a reverse "outie" braid for a more substantial look. I also had my sister do it on my neice for a wedding and curled the loose ends. It looked really nice, dressy but appropriate for a "tween." This is a hairstyle that is versatile enough for every age group. I will locate some photos to post soon, but until then you can see the tutorial here:

Valerie's Picture Day

Today was Valerie's Picture Day at school, so yesterday we went shopping for a new outfit and I discovered this really cute store. It is called naartjie kids... pronounced narchee. It is a South African store, and the first in Texas! They have really fun, soft, comfortable and vibrant clothing. That is where I bought Val's outfit. Next was the hair, I am always trying to come up with ideas for her hair, but never do. So, it was time to do what I do best; GOOGLE!!!! I found this great blogger: http://www.cutegirlshairstyles.com She has some incredible and fun ideas, and also had links to other hair bloggers. A great asset for any mom of a daughter! So, I chose a hairstyle and succeeded in doing a pretty good job! (See Above) Of course, it was raining cats and dogs this morning so after running back home for a PTA meeting I ran back to her school and was there to help fix any fly away hairs before the photo shoot. It's a good thing I went, because the girl was terrified of the photographer and was starting to cry! So, thankfully she calmed down before turning all red and we got some adorable photos!
