One of my absolute favorite hairstyles to do is the frenchbraid headband. My daughter cannot stand wearing headbands so this style is a great alternative. I also like it becaus it keeps the hair out of the face but you still have a significant amount of it down. You can do a reverse "outie" braid for a more substantial look. I also had my sister do it on my neice for a wedding and curled the loose ends. It looked really nice, dressy but appropriate for a "tween."
